Srry to ask, but wat is a TQ in racing? Y is it there? Wat's so special about it? How do u get a TQ? Thankx for the help guys

In Racing Terms, TQ is Top Qualifier. Who ever has the fastest qualifying time is TQ. There is also a traction compound by Racer's Edge called TQ. It's a compound that alot of major tracks are using now that want a unsented traction compound.

Nate take a look at the fsear.org site. We run 9 races at 9 different tracks each year. Click on the points and you will see 100pts. for an A-MAIN first place finish or 101 points for an A-MAIN and TQ first place finish.That extra point means a lot at the end of the year in most points races.

I've been in races where TQ(Top Qualifier) trophies are bigger than the actual 1st place trophies... Why? Well, TQ for a lot of racers means more because it is the epitome of hardwork after several grueling heats of intense competition... Sure, the final race is what counts... but I've also seen racers who won due to pure luck (let's say the TQ DNS or DNF'd or something...)

In my opinion, getting a TQ in a race isn't about luck but rather lots and lots of hardwork... heck, the TQ is the fastest guy in the class(excluding the mains), period.

Just my .02 cents...

TQ - Every class has someone who is the top qualifier. It's just the person who got the most no. of laps in the shortest time thoughout the 3 qualifiers. The TQ gets pole position in the main.
