Hahaa... that's a subjective question. We also had old timers on track they still stick to NiMH & stock motor. Overall it depends on individual as a handful of them refuse change.

if its a sport pack i wouldnt charge it more than 4amps if you have matched packs 5-6amps and let it cool down between charges this also gives time for the motor and esc to cool down also. you could use another pack and charger
for less down time in between runs. thats just my $.02
