Default Indy Reactor 30

Hi there

Can someone please enligthning me about the diodes close to the start button? What's the purpose?

I would prefer to get a Reacto 20, but it's out of stock. (i've wrote to Integy and asked when it's back, waiting for reply).

Do someone know, if the 30 can be modified to only discharge at 20 amps? Basically, it should only be a matter of removing one of the resistors in parralel...
