Hey all: With the F1 class becoming popular once again with a few companies offering new and or updated older kits i was woundering a few things. First do you see this class being added to some of the bigger on road events in 2010? Also is this class considered novice/intermediate and should it stay that way or is there room for a expert/pro F1 class as well? Finally what type of lipo is the best fit these F1 cars 1s or 2s? Our club is hosting the ROAR Region 12 1/10 Scale Electric On-Road Championships this year and we are adding F1 to the roster.

As the saying goes..."F1 is alive and well in SoCal!"

same here in holland

i know 2 or 3 clubs who have an F1 class

we have 7 f1 cars on our grid and it is great to see them

i personally have 2 of them at the moment

I wouldn't call it a beginner class at all.

When I ran in a F-1 club years ago, I thought it took more skill. It's open wheel, so patience is important. Putting pressure on the car in front of you, waiting for the right time and making the pass without hacking the guy you're passing.

In TC, I never saw the same patience, 1 or 2 turns and it was a bump and pass.
