Default Tamiaya TA05

Good evening gentlemen,

This is my first post on this forum and I kind of ran accross it by mistake but looks like a pretty good place to get info.

I will be getting the TA05 chassis for chistmas from my mother in law and I was looking at an Online manual on how to put it together. Can anyone tell me is this really difficult and how many days is it going to take me to assemble? I usually buy RTR's from traxxas and have a bunch of nitro stuff but this is my first electric in a very long time.

Can I get recomendations for what i should do to this thing? Would a novak 13T motor be to much for it?

Thanks alot in advance

Pete

Pete,

When I assembled mine, I found that it was a pretty easy build. I was quite particular with my build and took my time. I would work on it an hr or two at a time and had it assembled in three evenings. You could probably very well power through a build in a day. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info.

Ill probably take my time and put it together as you suggested. When i was doing research on it for what I wanted as my next project i heard many good things about the car. It has the belt drive system which i think is great for saving on what and transfering power to the wheels. It also seems very versatile from asphault to carpet to drifting on both. I have a local indoor rc track about 30 minutes from my house that i would like to start racing on and it seems like the TA05 was the best choice.
