How about also making some 6° caster blocks. Are XRay caster blocks a direct fit with the stock arms and knuckles?

I just tested this myself when I read your question. Dimensionally, the XRay T2/T3 V2 steering knuckles, front arms, front outer hinge pins, steering knuckle bushings, rear outer hinge pins, and c-hubs are all within .2 mm in the necessary areas. I did not test the rear hubs, but by the look of things, they will work on both cars as well. As far as I could tell, installing the two brands' parts in as many configurations as I could, the above named pieces are completely interchangeable. The rear arms, and inner hinge pins however are not.

On another note, I broke a bumper brace a few weeks back due to a car stopped in the sweeper. I could not get a spare Sakura bumper brace, but Tamiya TB03 ones work. Same hole alignment.

I've noticed that the new Serpent 411 uses only one pair of pinion gears in its gear diff. Same as the lightweight Photon gear diff. Has anyone tried that in the Zero gear diff? I was thinking taking out one pair of pinion gears in mine.
Anyways, so far the car has been okay. But I seem to have problems keeping the rear end planted. What have you guys been doing with the setup?

Isn't the problem with the lightweight gear in the Photon that it strips the gear rather fast??
Not going that way just to safe a few grams of weight.

What are you running up front ant on what surface are you running?
Mine is a bit understeered in the fast corners and has enough in the slow hairpins,
I am running a almost stock setup with 13.5 boosted in it

Yeah, I have 3 degree in the rear with 4mm hexes and narrow blocks. I'll work on other things to test for tomorrow. Right now my car seems fine at the start of the race, but towards the end, it gets a little loose. I'm going to play with shock oil and spring. Then go from there.

Hope the price can be mark down a little bit more as too many good touring cars on the market under $400 these days.
By the way, found a way to narrow the front by using Sakura FF blocks.
In theories, it should gain smaller turning circle and less ackerman, by the combination with the narrow rear block should gain more rotations through the turns.
Unfortunately, I do not have time to test it within these 2 weeks...
