It depends on the size of the track but if i put in a 5.0 100ft track i would start at 2,2,3,4 and go from there. Thanks!

Paul,

How should I set the expo on my flysky radio so that my 17.5 speed passion motor and orion esc can power my yokomo to a race win? Oh, and what springs should I run on the back of my bd-5?

Thanks

Hi, with the servo saver i would use the short case 9551, if you want to use a straight servo horn you will have to use a bigger servo.
Thanks

Hi. This is just a guess but if i had to go run boosted 10.5 right now i would start with a 7.0-7.2 overall ratio, 20deg timing then play with the boost settings while monitoring the temp..

hopefully its not that far off for you.

Right now i do use a straight servo horn (no servo saver.) the car drives a little better to me with a straight servo horn, but you will break more. with no servo saver you must use the servo mounts and shue goo the servo in the car, otherwise a slight impact will always move the servo. Currently with no servo saver i am using the 9351, That servo can really take a beating.

Thanks

Hi Steve. with having more experience on the rear gear diff now here is what i have concluded lately.
It totally depends on the traction level of the track, for really low bite i have no problem running shock fluid, even 300 or 400, for med bite i will normally run 1k diff fluid, for high bite i usually end up at 2000, for super high traction i will go as high as 3000. It has become for me a huge tuning option to make the car drive properly and be predictable. If it is too thin the car drives funny and if it is too thick the car drives funny but in a different way, but for me it is all about following the traction with the diff oil.

Thanks
