As with any sauce i would never recommend rubbing it in with your fingers, LG2 is among the lower of toxic sauces on the market but even though i use my fingers i recommend the use of gloves or lint free towel to apply.

LG2 does work Very well when the proper amount is applied, even without tire warmers.

Thanks

Sifu,

Can you explain "pack" and how it applies to our shocks ?

I'm waiting on my carpet nats door prize to arrive .... specifically, can you recommend a total shock length for the t3'12 ( asphalt ~ Reedy/Norcal ). I'll be using the optional aluminum shocks.

p.s. My bro Alex and I will be at the Reedy next month.. see you then !

Hi Jake. maybe best to give me a call tomorrow so i can kill a few birds.

Pack as i have heard it talked about is basically big holes in the piston and thick oil VS small holes with thin oil.
I think the effects of "pack" in this sense is significantly reduced when a bladder shock set up is in place. I think as you would normally tune piston size and oil for "pack" with a cartridge shock, now with a bladder shock is more determined by your bladder set up. I look at Pack as initial piston movement before it really runs in to the oil, and in a bladder shock that is effected a ton by the bladder set up.
I could totally be wrong though.

Hi Paul,

Ive recently started using Thunderpower motors and batteries and I am really liking them so far. I was wondering what timing your normally run on the motors (4T and 4.5T)? I have been running 20d on my 4.5, But I notice you seem to prefer using a 4T. May I ask why? Also are you still using the 5300 Lipo's, or the 6000mah?

Thanks Antoni

Apparently the cosmos wants me back in an Xray. I won a T3 ( but they were out of stock at the time ) as a raffle/door prize at the Carpet Nats which should be on its way as I type, however I still have the "shockless wonder" too....

Racing asphalt 13.5 open speedo and was wondering if anybody had a good starting point with settings in the Tekin RS for that class. Big thanks you to anyone who could help!

Thanks Paul!

Hi Antoni. the lower turn motors like to be between 10 and 20deg timing.
I use a 4.0 just because i am used to it. i think a 4.5 set up a bit different would also be very fast. I have both battery's that i can run, for mod i dont think it is a big deal, were never close to dumping and not that worried about power either BC of the abundance to begin with. for mod you just want a reliable pack which all of the TP battery's are. Glad your happy with the stuff!

Bump, this thread is amazing. I saw the "carpet racers" on documentary channel, never heard of this hobby before and now I'm here checking it out.
