How much do you mill your chassis for the batteries on the TC3?

Thanks,

Mike,

Any word on the 12L4 yet? I hear it is only going to be a team kit. See you at Nats.

Chicky... Close to .100 It might be a alittle more but that is close to were i think it should be

Lem2... We run the spool outdoors mainly.. Usually on tracks were the one way is too twitchy or very tight tracks were braking is mandatory.. As for indoors. I just can not get the handle on the car or how hard it is to drive with the spool, 9 out of 10 times i can get a diff on carpet as fast...

Brian... I hope to get mine this week or next week. I am not sure of the details on the kit or upgrade.. I just know they are waiting on some pieces to get finished....

Later

Miker

Hey Josh...

We ran the stock springs bent above 180 Basically the stiffest you can find LOL...

As for the setup for trackside...

I ran 70 wt#3's in the front with purple springs rear tower on the front spaced up .030 inside hole with camber link up and short. Droop was 5 and 4 degree's caster with the -1 antidive in the front.. .055 front sway bar -1.0 camber

Rear was 50 wt #3's Purple springs outside hole on tower, short wheel base , Droop at 4 and 3.75 on lr . camber link long and down with losi 0 degree blocks with a silver ball.. -1.0 camber Ride height 5.0 mm front and rear... Also i run the f block in the rear with 3+2 wich gives me about 1.5 toe per side..

If i left something out please tell me...

Mike

pball....

Droop is a funny thing.. it confuse's me alot of times too . So this might not be the perfect answer but this is what i think...

More droop = more roll = more traction to a point.. less droop less roll =less traction to a point.. It also will change weight transfer .. So it is really a trial and error thing..

I usually run about 1.5-2 mm of droop in the front and .5-1.5 mm in the rear for carpet..

Hope this helps..

Mike

So, are any of us "stock" guys going to be able to play with the "L4" at nats, or are all you mod guys going to not share?
