The guy is looking for a entry kit for his son. I do not recommend a 400 dollar plus kit for a new comer that doesn't even know if he likes it. Yeah it looks fun but at first it's a PITA to understand. You can own a 1000 drift car but for what? If your not on a highly competitive level it's a waste. What will you people suggest next? a 300 dollar Novak Drift esc?

Yup 400 and above for a see if he likes it is probably out of the question. but I am getting the honest answers I was looking for and some commons are showing up so I think I will narrow it a bit and go do my homework with the advice given here. Thanks a bunch for the input folks.
