Default Tekin RS or RS pro For on-road?

Why do I need an RS Pro for 13.5 rubber? Is the Pro better? Does it have more programming?

No. The RS is fine for 13.5. The Pro can handle lower turn motors and has more FET's. You won't notice the difference in 13.5. They both have the same programming.

You only need the pro if you're running mod (down to like 5 turn). For 13.5 you don't need it. There are no difference in features or programming. The Pro is just able to handle more current. The Pro is actually a little bigger then the standard. Get the regular for 13.5.

i was on the same boat as everyone else believing there wouldn’t be a noticeable difference between the rs and rs pro but i could tell instantly visually and with my lap times (back to back trials with exact same settings) spend a few more dollars and go with the pro.

Not a chance, there's no difference between the two except for the lower winds for the pro.

Placebo effect? If I remember correctly, even TEKIN states that there is no performance difference between the RS and RS Pro...

RS Standard: Works with 5.5T motors and up
RS Pro: Works with 3.5T motors and up

Were your times with the RS Pro after your times with the RS?

My lap times were better with the RS. The RS Pro just felt too heavy with the extra .3 oz that I had to lug around.

The hardware and software are identical. The RS has 24 fets, the Pro has 48 fets and thus a lower motor limit.

I am going to be running 17.5 Touring car on asphalt and I will be running the new speedpassion 17.5 with a Tekin RS Pro.

I am looking for a good starting point for the gearing and set up on the speedo.

I have the vegas software on my speedo.

I appreciate any help I can get.
