Tire warmers
So lets talk tire warmers here.
This past weekend tire warmers made a pretty big difference and of course I dont have any and had to borrow a friends. So looking around much more has something that I think might work. I dont really want to spend 200 bucks on warmers, so what about something like this set up?

Under a 100 bucks. Is this worth the money? Is there something better in the 100 dollar price range? I dont really care what brand they are.
Thanks

Those look like they would work fine.

They would work fine, the advantage of the Much More warmers is that they are temperature controlled which allows you to set the temps more accurately.
You would also have to modify the connections etc to make them all compatible.

I've got the Type S version and they work well with the Jaco tires. I plug them into my power supply 10-15 minutes before the heat. I only leave them on for 5 minutes, unplug them and leave the cans on the tire for 5-10 minutes before the race. Seems to work well for me.

If you have a free charger that does motor run in, you can get away without the temp. controller. Anywhere from 7.2-8v on my Ice gets them to the right temp depending on conditions.
B18C- If you race Rubber on aspahlt, especially in lower bite/colder conditions, Tire warmers are a necessity, not an option. You can throw the car on the track and be hooked up, instead of waiting 2 minutes. Still helpful in the summer as well.

I have a set of warmers from Speed mind. They do not have temperature control, but you could vary the current/voltage if you found they were too hot.
I got mine for £10 second hand, bargain. They are ~£30 new though. They seem to be hard to find new however, not entirely sure they still make them.

Right on guys! Sounds good. I guess I will order those from somewhere that has them in stock.
And yeah b18c. As they said it was pretty much needed at this past weekends race. I have always had uses for the warmers. I just always needed more important things and never got them.
Thanks guys!
