Futaba MC114H ESC 8.4-9.6V (TOP LEFT) Some sites say its for Cars, some say its for Heli....which is it?? and stats on it?.. Thanks. |
They market it for helis now, but an older version of it use to be sold for cars a long time ago, arround the late 80's.
It was a pretty good ESC for its day but is technologically obsolete today for car racing. |
i have a feeling i got the model number wrong, but the picture is correct...the top left hand one....the tiny little translucent grey one.....
does anyone know the model?....i know theres supposed to be 2 new models....
If it's designed for 8.4v and 9.6v, I'd say it's not for cars.
i remember one of them is somthing somthing 600.....but i cant find any info anywhere ....
i never seen the grey translucent one...but the ones for RC cars are suppose to be translucent pink!
i saw a two new futaba speedos somewhere that can go up to 10 turns. i think it was that one in the picture or something similar.
ok, i have confirmed that there are 3 new ones, 400, 600 and 800.....all hi-end escs....
they all have black casings, and are all smaller than the LRP quantum series.... tiny and expensive boogers.... |
oh yeah, its smaller than that one at the corner there....
i saw the new futaba esc's in our lhs. they look almost exactly like quantums, except for the case. i think their top of the line model also has 4 holes (2 for the LEDs, 2 for the setup buttons) on the casing like the quantum competition pro. plus 3-wire setup on external posts.
if anyone has bought it, and tried it, what are your comments?
if anyone of u come across it on the net, please post the link here, im going crazy looking for it on the net.... |
