i have run the aceer gray seal ceramics in 1/8 onroad for years with great sucess, but electric is ALOT different...i saw the orange internal seal bearings offered from boca, are these the fastest/lightest set for my 12r5.1 pancar....or anyone have another idea, maybe 40bux less that utulize the same teqnollogy,please advise,,thanx tommy

If you are looking for a smooth fast bearing I would definitely try Boca Bearings ceramic bearings. Your running onroad (little or no dust,dirt), go with a metal shield, alot less drag then a rubber shield.

avid bearing are very cheap... you just need to "break in" the bearing to be smooth ...mybe couple of runs

thanks, yea i wasnt looking for a dollar bearing, rather performance....boca's are the way it seems.

Honestly, I don't see a need for ceramic bearings in electric on road racing. Every big race I've been too, I've just used $1 bearings from avid or someone similar. As soon as you tap a wall or two, you usually damage the wheel/hub bearings right away. I used to use ceramic... and it just got too expensive. I haven't seen any performance increase on the track with ceramic bearings, and normal bearings haven't slowed me down one bit. Just save your money and buy a good supply of the normal bearings and I think you'll be much happier.
