yes sorex 36 is great...i pretty much run them always outside.....on the tire additive, (paraagon, tq blue)some tracks like the stuff, and some don't...try it durring practice, if it works great, if not....dont....also, just cleaning your tires with simple green will alot of times help....

Not only will simple green help outside, but i always use green alchohol to clean the tires after every one. Once i do that, depending where i am racing, i will go with Paragon for inside and simple green for outside.

As a matter of fact, didnt even use the simple green yesterday with the 138g. The track was on fire.

Even though the Sorex 36r is for high tempature tracks, people are using them on all temps and all types of tracks.

Just a quick note. If anyone has been having trouble finding Sorex tires, all compounds will be back in stock within the next 2 weeks. The delay was caused by updating the packaging for United States sales (Bar Coding etc). The new 40R compound will be arriving with this shipment and new firm inserts to follow shortly.

Thanks for your patience.

Sorex tires 28,32 and 36r will hope to be in by Friday. They were sent out yesterday. 20 and 24r in about 2 weeks or less. We do have about 24 24r in stock now.

Thank you for your patience. Billy

At our indoor carpet track I'm using TakeOff CS27 tires, JB Wheels and JB Blue inserts. Works good for me but others are complaining about them.......
Sorex probably make the best rubber tires, and my next set will be 28Rs. Used them before, and nothing beats them!
I'm using Corally Jack The Gripper traction ad it's superb.

BTW, JB wheels and JB blue inserts are THE way to go on carpet!

I use both TRC and BRC 28mm foams.

Paragon traction additive.

TRC foams are lighter out of the box which means nothing since you need to shave them down to about 62 mm to start.

BRC has a square shoulder and the foam is flush with the wheel and sell for $16 at my LHS.

the local track here (OC Circuit) is the same set up minus the sugar water. premounted CS-27 tires work great. and others use sorex 36Rs. (not sure about their insert set up)

I agree. In a lot of parking lot races, Takeoff 27s work good, but as traction increases, go with Sorex 36 with medium inserts (thin) and as the temp drops you can try 32s or even try Yokomos, just make sure they are the "s" version as in 138GS, but that will be hit or miss and they wear out fast.
