Fantom and Trinity?
 

Are fantom and trinity electric motors the same? I heard rumors that they are. Which is a better one to get for a 19t or 27t?

Fantom buys motors from the motor companies(reedy, trinity) and tunes them.

Of all the motor companies in the US, only three design their own motors....

Trinity has the Epic motors, Reedy has the Yokomo motor, and Orion/Peak has the Top motors. All the other motor companies buy their motors OEM from one of the 3......you can either buy them prewound with no labels, packaging, brushes, springs, etc....or you can buy them unwound and build them from the ground up(not all motors are available both ways, like stocks only come prewound).

There are a few other motor companies out in the world that do their own stuff, like Echo and Corally, but their availablity in the US is limited, not to mention very few of their motors are actually legal for use in US races.

Fantom buys OEM from both Reedy and Trinity. They sell a quality product with excellant customer service. Troy the owner is a great guy.

I heard a rumor that Trinity was no longer selling any motors to Fantom because they are sponsoring Josh Cyrul. Can anyone confirm this report?

I can confirm that they still send motors. I have to build them all, well a lot of the stock motors. We get stuff from all over and build & tune them in shop.

What do you mean "worked out"? I work at Fantom and I think I would know what all goes on. Please enlighten me on what you know about things "working out".............

When I was talking to Troy at the Indoor Champs he said that he wasnt dealing with Trinity anymore....was going to ALL Orion Revolution Mods, I dont know about stock......we didnt mention that.

So, I'm guessing something must have worked out between the 2 companies
