Can timing be adjusted on a LRP X-11 17.5??
Of course lucky me picks up a lrp x11 17.5 at my lhs 2 days before the x12 hits the shelf. It's my first brushless motor other then a duo2. Can the timing be adjusted on it and if so how is it done? Thanks!

No, I believe that it cannot be mechanically adjusted(which is why Tamiya chose it & one other 17.5 as their legal motor for the GT2 class in their Tamiya Championship Series, they didn't want adjustable timing to be brought into it, though that's a moot point now with ESC's sporting dynamic timing adjust & turbo boost).....

Loosen the 3 screws on the plastic end cap.
The plastic ring with the notches cut in it will now spin to change the timing.
The first time it is moved it might be hard to adjust.
There are hard limits to both ends of the timing range.
I would suggest starting out with small adjustments until you get a feel for the gearing. Small meaning 1mm per adjustment.
When you are done adjusting be sure to tighten the screws back up.
I would also recommend making a mark where the timing starts so you can always put it back.
