What is the smallest 48P spur and biggest pinion gear in xray t2 007

Hi there,

Happy Turkey day everyone.

Can someone tell me what is the smallest 48P spur+biggest pinion combo for xray t2 007? I tried a 78T xray spur + 34t pinion, but I have trouble reaching one of the motor mount screws. There is no more room to add a bigger pinion. I am running 17.5 motor setup.

I also have an original T2. I was able to fit 78T + 37T in.

Thanks in advance.

max 48p i can get on the 008 is 78/35, but you need to use a ball end 2mm hex to tighten the rear screw.

I was running 36/70 in mine with a 21.5 . I use RW brand spur, either hand file or dremel the holes larger.
This means, when your driver goes through the gear,it is closer to the teeth.
A ball ended driver helps. This set up can and will work out. I have gotten to a 60mm roll-out.
Haven't tried for higher ,as I didn't need to.

A 74 or 72 RW spur fit no problems and its not even that tight a fit to get the screws done up. I found the 69 too fiddly  :D
