Ends up being @ $35 shipped to your door. Several of my club members have one or more. We've been using them for about 9 months with no problems. If you need ROAR approved batteries, however, these won't work.

At a recent RCGT race, which is 17.5 or 27 turn, we were maintaining equivalent lap times with poor handling cars. Had our cars been dialed and/or not break, we'd have been on the podium.
I second these. Got 4 for my son and I and have been using them all summer.

Well, you've got the right idea but the numbers don't add up. If my TC is using 2250 mAh in 6 minutes with a 17.5 (avg. of 375 mAh / minute), the Slash (3x as heavy) is using 1500 mAh in 5 minutes (avg. of 300 mAh / minute) with a 13.5 (or 2600 mAh in 10 minutes, an avg. of 260 mAh /minute). Since this was posted in the Electric On-Road forum, I think that the TC numbers are a more accurate representation of what he can expect.

And I still recommend increasing his budget to get a 5000 mAh pack.

Saving longer for a 5000mah lipo would mean me missing a race in a couple of weeks time...
