what makes ur com shape into a cone shape
just a little question what make ur com shape into a cone at the end whn u cut it what im doing wrong do i need a new lathe bit plse help

Make sure your Bit is sharp and has been set-up properly from the centerline of the lathe.
Either one will cause poor cuts if wrong.
Also if the drive O-ring is worn out, it will not hold the arm down tight against the blocks. This coupled with a worn Bit will cause the armature to be pushed off the blocks when cutting and a tapered (and bad) cut will be the result.

Check your`s lathes bridge ways & see if they are in alinement (staight) ( two screws with lock nuts )
If one is tighter or looser , the lathe will cut a cone shaped com.
