Something that is raced in one of your local clubs is your best bet. Find out what is raced locally and start in the lowest class. Even if your just bashing in front of your house, that can get boring and you might wanna actually race someday.

That depends.
Here is the TC class popular.
But best is go to a club were you want to race and ask there what is popular and what is best to start with.
They can help you better than here on the forum.

Most local clubs have a website that will list what is raced at that particular club. Start there. Where do you live?

TT01 is good if your club has a spec class for it, or you are not racing and jsut hacking around carparks. The TA05 is a competent club-level racer, and has a lot of tuning points as well as hop-up's.
I used to use a TA05 in a 13.5 class, with the TRF shocks as the onyl upgrade

First, go to your local club where you will be racing. If you don't do this, you could end up wasting a lot of money.
