Cool Still #1!

Tekin made the best electronic items that can still compete with anything on the market. Any comments?

I personally wish Tekin would have stayed in business... Had lots of good times with their speedos and recievers back in the day..

was about to journey into their chargers, till they left the game..

My BC112 is still going strong after 6 years. No other charger has lasted that long. Wish it would work with NiMH. H-27 software gets them a little warm......

Guys think about this. With the equipment lasting so long compared to equipment now, there is no need to replace your electronics with a new one so naturally sales are down. LOL. My .02 cents.

I have a tekin G12cIII speed control in my L3Oval. I race only stock 4 cell class. Do you guys think this speedo is out dated as far as performance goes? I have not tried any other esc's in this car since I bought it this past fall. Any ones thoughts....

They can't be that #1 considering they're out of business.

Cool Still The Best!

I like living in the past. Even though they've been out of business for 3 years, their products can stand toe-to-toe with anything else available now. Just goes to show how advanced they were. I know there are several good companies out there, but I don't like how everybody thinks you have to have the latest and greatest things available to win races. These companies want you to believe it too.

Tekin had brilliant products.
The G9 has never been copied.
The G12CIII was/is unstoppable workhorse.
The Titan is still widely in use with 2 modified motors.
The BC112A and C had features that we're only now seeing on brand new chargers.
I sold a fellow racer old BC112 about four years ago after he'd killed three chargers in one season. That BC112 is still in use.
I have BC112A-h27 and the only thing I really miss is backlight.
I was really sorry to see Tekin fade away like it did.
