Default 2.0mm or 2.5mm for asphalt?

For running on the asphalt, street, is it better to go with a TC5R with the 2.0mm chassis or the TC5F with the 2.5mm? Seems like the 2.5 may be a bit stiff.

The TC5R is designed for rubber tires so if that is what you are racing with then it is your best bet.
