thanx, but ne1 know where to buy 2.5mm diff balls so i dont have to spend $15.00 bucks to rebuild 1 diff on my mission?
|
Isn't 2.5mm the same as 3/32..... the Associated balls should work.... but the Mission balls are carbide, so they will last for a long time, unless you run the diff soo loose it slips.....

3/32 isn't the same as 2.5mm
The 2.5mm schumacher balls are bigger. |
3/32"=2.38mm you may just get away with it providing there is still some 'float' between the two plates and the pulley.
|
Running the carbide diff balls will mean that the balls won't wear out as fast, but they will wear out the diff rings much faster because they are harder.

Hardness doesnt wear out the rings faster, abrasiveness does.
