TC5F on asphalt?

Is the TC5F no good for a concrete car? I ask because I can get one for a great price new in box. Is the TC5R much better on the asphalt than the F version?

the TC5F will drive just fine on asphalt. the only difference between the F and the R is the R has a slightly thinner chassis which flexes more. There is a guy at my track who drives a carpet car and does just fine, but requires a little bit more control and set-up since it can be a bit more twitchy.

you could always buy it, and down the road purchase the "R" chassis plate and be able to go back and forth

the F will do fine on asphalt. but if you need to upgrade....the Exotek chassis (http://www.exotekracing.com/EXOTEK_N...6/29_TC5X.html) is a great upgrade for your TC5.

one of the European AE drivers used it to win a big race over in europe.
