1C Lipo 1/12 Racing Questions

I know some of the answers are in the 1/12 scale fourm but looking for the answer is hell! I have a few questions that I can't find.

1. If you use a lipo reciever pack (I use a 180mah 2C pack) will you need a voltage regulator to bring it down to 6v for the reciever.

2. I will be racing 13.5 at our track. The track is med size, I ordered 72,73 and 74 spur. What size pinions should I buy?

3. I am using the LRP SPX stock spec esc, should I use any of the breaking profiles on this esc?

Thank you guys for your help.

If your electronics are designed to run off of 6 volts then Yes use a regulator. It will also help the rx pack last the whole 8 minutes by cutting down the amp draw.

On the Horsham Racing thread they posted a roll out of 80-82mm using a 13.5. Those guys are some of the best on the east coast. The rollout also depends on your tire size. I use this site to help me figureout what pinion to use with the spur U choose. http://www.gearchart.com/index.cfm?f...n=chart.create .

I'll be using Speed Passion ESC's so I really can't help with the SPX until my friend buys his. Sorry.

Hope the rest helps.
