Cool LRP Vector X12 StockSpec and SXX stockspec

LRP is going to release all new stock motors with the same cans of modified motors and also their all new stock spec ESC.

Read here:
SXX stock spec
X12 stock spec

I hope it will release in anywhere in further moments, not like SP which had announced long time ago then didn't still have in the market their spec motors.

1 question which i want to ask, if is possible using the X12 modified rotors(ex:12mm) in these stock spec motors?
In fact in our champs' rules there's no restriction in the rotors, only the can is revised.

Best regards

This is so typical. The day I got my LRP X11 17.5T StockSpec, was also the day the X12 StockSpec series came out on the market - I should have checked that before ordering :P

And I also just got my LRP SPX - and now the SXX StockSpec is coming. But as far as i know, the SXX StockSpec arrives in December, so I don't regret buying my SPX, but the X11 is a bummer :P

How would we know what rotors will fit in the X12 stock spec motors if there not out yet???

Maybe you should email or call LRP and ask them and let the rest of us know what you find out!!!

Correct me if im wrong...

All of the stock spec motors coming out are going to be required to run the stock rotor which must now have a colored ring on it inspectable from the outside of the motor. This diminishes the possibility of using tunable rotors (different diameters) in the stock classes.

X12 StockSpec motors started shipping already, not sure at which distributor they're going to be available first tough!

As for the rotor question: physically all X12 Modified rotors do fit into X12 StockSpec as well, but in certain countries/clubs they may only allow the standard X12 StockSpec rotor (easily recognisable by black shaft and black magnet) due to size restrictions.

X11 rotors do not fit into any X12 motors tough, just to clarify that as well.

December - maybe later.

In the thread about LRP SPX, Reto comes with a "statement" about the SXX StockSpec.

Ok, thanks for your reply Mr Koenig.
About the other option parts, if they could using the Aluminium Endcover ?
About the Lightweight Front Housing i think is not probably fit, due the original can is dismountable, isn't it?

Best regards

Welcome mac853!
Btw, "Reto" sounds more appropriate in a forum then "Mr.Koenig"...

I don't fully understand what you mean with your optional parts question. Do you mean if X12 optional parts which we recently released, which were meant for X12 Modified at that time, do also physically fit for X12 StockSpec?

If so, the endcover does fit X12 StockSpec as well with no problem but the lightweight front housing does not fit (bearing OD is different, inner dimensions are different and obviously anodising color may make it look ugly!).

If that doesn't answer your question then please ask again.

I am curious to see how much of an improvement this SXX Stock is over the SPX.
