I don't fully understand what you mean with your optional parts question. Do you mean if X12 optional parts which we recently released, which were meant for X12 Modified at that time, do also physically fit for X12 StockSpec?

If so, the endcover does fit X12 StockSpec as well with no problem but the lightweight front housing does not fit (bearing OD is different, inner dimensions are different and obviously anodising color may make it look ugly!).

If that doesn't answer your question then please ask again.
OK, Reto!
What front housing doesn't fit?
Why X12 modified tuning rotor does?

Ok, then thanks!

@mac853: I guess we have some communication problem...
As I wasn't sure what you asked in your original question I made some assumptions what you could have meant.
The X12 Modified's tuning front housing 50625 does not fit the X12 StockSpec, you find details about that housing here: http://www.lrp.cc/en/products/electr...aeuse/details/

Why should X12 modified rotors not fit into X12 StockSpec?

@M-Technic & BlackedOutRevo: we never would release a product which is no improvement over the previous! So SXX StockSpec is a clear improvement over SPX StockSpec in many aspects with finer adjustability, more power, easy 1S usage, etc etc. Refer to our website for all the features please.

USB connection is not planned for the beginning of SXX StockSec, this may be added at a later stage in 2010 but there is no clear details there!
Generally speaking: We try to sell products which are developed to the end and not have customers be our beta-testers, so firmware updates are usually not something which are needed with LRP products so far but we consider it for the future as some customers clearly demand it.

Hey Reto,

Any release date for the SXX stock spec esc? I am from singapore and currently we are halfway thru our national series stock race. Really eager to look forward in getting the esc. Currently using the SXX TC spec somehow still short on power. Any Suggestion on profile setting? Our stock class is running 11.5T.Thot of getting the SPX stock spec but since SXX stock spec is coming soon. So i shall wait. Lemme know of any updates.

Thanks

I totally agree! LRP speed controllers are the best performing and the easiest to use.

My biggest question is will the SXX Stockspec be replacing the SPX esc? What are the improvements if it is, and if it isn't, then what are the differences?

Uhm,no Reto, i just ask why rotor could fit but why lightweight housing could not, if rotor fits in both motors.
I just said that, communication are going always decently well.

If the optional rotors(12mm) could run on comming soon X12 stock 13.5T, maybe i will at least buy 1 with SXX stock spec ESC to try to comparing with sensorless 3000KV motors.

would it be possible to have the stock spec high timing profiles also available on the SXX TC spec instead of only in the SPX or this new SXX? I'm tired of changing speedies to race mod or 10.5t, but i love the convenience of push button, no laptop programming.

have your one high end speedy that is #1 for all classes, not just mod.

part #80900 is the sxx comp. esc, my question is for running 1/12 1c lipo 13.5 will i get more power out of the currentlly available sxx, w/booster , or wait for the stock spec...and would a booster be helpfull for the stockspec?
lastlly would 10.5 reap the benifits of the stockspec, or go with the sxx comp for that motor?

thanx burito

"Spec" winds are usually considered to be from the 21.5 down to the 10.5, and 8.5 and down are considered modified winds.
