The best you could do is to try with another transmiter-receiver.If you cannot calibrate it again send it in.Maybe is a defective one.

Tried that too with 3 different receiver.... Still nothing It will only calibrate on Fullthrotlle and not on break and neutral.....

Ok I tried the mmp with my x12 5,5t and if you give full throttle from a dead stop it stutters and cogs
But if yoy roll on the throttle its okay. But I'm running it with smart sense 8 deg and using a dx3r I've
Calibrated multiple times and same thing. It being really gay at the moment.

Mamba Max Pro don't like the X-12 for some reason I have a bad cogging on 13.5.... I also got LRP X-12 3.0T on the way....

Try running it on sensored only mode with the CHEAT mode off.

Really? I know a couple guys running that combo with no problems. 13.5 and 17.5. I don't know off hand what they are running for end bell timing. But they are fast.

The problem is the x12! the MMP sure isn't the only ESC to have these problems when running X12's. Try cheat mode with not too low start RPM. I know a few people running X12's with tekins ok.

As for running a 5.5 in Cheat mode, it seems the only way to go. I tried smart sense with my SP 5.5 and was very disappointed. My 10.5 in Cheat was faster. The 5.5 with Cheat is increadible. As much power as anyone could use. Now to find a good gearing/setting to be sure I can get 5min with decent temperatures.

Now the question is what would be good start and end rpm? Also the x12 5,5t has a stock timing of -10 deg. I know sometimes with neg timing take off can be sketchy. What's all of urthoughts.

I would start with high RPM at least 10,000 RPM end at 20,000 RPM since mod is High RPM motor..... If you are going to use cheat mode just keep the timing really low at around 10 degree...

so here is the verdict smartsense is gay.. with an x12 that is .. i just took my field card and switch it to sensored only with 0deg cheat so its not adding anything and it cured my issue and also was faster with it in general. but also i was thinking if i figure out the right start rpm and end rpm i can simulate the way it would work in smart sense instead of the timing ramping it will stay at say 10 deg the entire time? i feel once that is figured out it would be real nice. my question is once the end rpm is reached does that timing continue to stay at the value that has been set from that point on ? i hope this is somewhat easy to understand? pretty much i just want maybe 10 deg max added from the esc in sensored only mode. thats what i amtrying to get at haha.

If you dont use the CHEAT mode but sensored only you can still adjust the timing on basic setup tab I believe but very minimal I think the max is 20 degree..
