Lee, thanks for the diff info... I was under the assumption that it would be a drop in and run mod... Now that I more parts are required, I will stick
with the ball setup for now... How is the performance difference in comparison to ball diffs?

don't know as i have allways run with the gear diff , i tried it this weekend back to back against my new t4 and it was just as good i was amazed my mate also tried it compared to his t3 2011 and he was really impressed too.
the only thing i really need to do for a fair comparrison is get the weight the same my t1 is 120 gramms lighter than my t4

Wow... that sounds great... I definitely would like to find out a little more on this conversion... it's so inconvenient tearing down the entire rear end to service the diff...

my xray T1 mini with shorty lipo batt and 10.5 brushless motor. took me some effort and time to modify the car to fit shorty lipo batt but it all worth the effort. car is awesome and very fast. would later replace diff gear with gear diff. car is very well balance left and right.

What all mods did you have to do, might you have any extra pics or a write up, I want to do this to mine.

I have a T1M chassis and other blue carbon parts for sale.

I am also looking for T1M and T1 parts for sale. Lmk

Does anyone know what pinion and spur I should be running on my FK05 for VTA class, VTA rubber tires, 25.5T motor and it's a small carpet track.

Ampdraw hobbies has what you are looking for, it is what they called a multi diff.

Thank you. I just checked and its discontinued. Im thinking about just getting rid of this t1 and getting something newer. Parts are a pain to find for it.

According to stormerhobbies none of the multi diffs work with the T1.

Maybe you can JB weld a ball diff together?
