Pyramid: Milf is correct about the car. Don't get caught up in the one belt deal. The single belt is not going to change this car one bit. Even if it would be more efficient only the best drivers would notice.

If you need a one belt car buy the Losi. You should buy the xray if you want a car that is very tunable to your style and like a car that is very well built.

One thing I think they missed on is the rear tower should have more adjustments for the inner camber link. This is one place I don't see much adjustment.

That is why they are coming out with the roll bridge.

Correct but the roll bridge only allows you to lengthen the link. It does not allow you to change the roll center by moving the link up or down for angle change.

There is sufficient up and down settings on the upright to affect the roll-center. If you do the math you will find that it is effective.

The car has alot of adjustments, you have toe, camber, antidive, downstops, caster, track withd, wheelbase lenght, 4 step shock clicker, ride height, battery placement for steering or tracktion purpose, i don't think i miss anything, if i did someone will proably add to this, but this car is for serious racer, not for beginers.

Option parts:

front sway bars
rear sway bar
belt tenioner
precut bumper for transponder
precut bumper plate for transponder
front oneway diff
and more that i could not name them

Out of the box is pretty much you'll need just depends on your driving style.

Spare parts i would get:

steering blocks
front upper arms
front lower arms
rear arms
extra belts

hope this helps

Thanks for the tips. The reason I ask is just because it does look very different, even if it is actually the same compare to others, if you know what I mean.

I've been racing since 1988, on and off about 7-8 times mostly 1/12 pan car, and now just get started back with Yokomo SP as my LHS have all the parts.

While waiting for the single belted kit, I'm hoping LHS will stock up Xrays.

I'll be watching this side till I got one.

Thanks Everyone

Hey guys, can someone dig out the part number of the aluminum servo mounts that came with the T1 and post them here?

The single belt conversion is just a prototype at the moment... it may never get into production. Even Xray themselves admit that the conversion is just to follow the current "fashion" trend. Looking at it, it may not be as efficent as the current twin belt design because the belt is being "forced" onto the centre pulley by the three bearings. Both the XXX-S and the KX-1 currently do not "force" their belts around the pulley!
