Hey all,

Sorry I have not been keeping up with the forum, things have been very busy here. I just wanted to stop in and say that for the next 2 weeks we are offering free 2-day air shipping to any order over $100.00
Any order that over 200$ will get an additional 5% off plus the 2-day air shipping. Orders over 300$ will get 10% off plus the 2-day air shipping.
Note! This does not apply to kits (sorry).

I hope everyone is having a great time racing, and wrenching.

Take Care All,
Buster

Default new arms & hubs

Does anyone know when we will be able to get the new arms and hubs? Also, is anyone running the 6 cell chassis? If so, how how do you have the batteries? 3x3 or six in a row? I'm using it in the 3x3 and did'nt notice much difference.

Still running the car with the sock chassis. Someone on the other forum runs the 6 cell chassis. But he is running carpet oval.

That this point, i want to keep the xray as is. Some of the options just seem to must of a waste of money. Stock seems to be pretty good to me.

Well, as far as the hop ups go I think that they are tuning aids. Some of the parts are only needed givin you've broken something. Meaning if you break the old version, why not purchase the new version. For instance, I chipped my chassis long ago and needed another. I waited for the new one to come out because it was more cosmetic than a functional problem.

Ok, now on to racing. Has anyone tried the new upper decks? BOth versions? Please compare.

I made a few changes to mine. Springs, a bunch of option parts and stuff. Nothing extreme. I love the way the car feels now. I've been running on asphalt so far this spring/summer. The car is dialed with foams on asphalt. This fall I'll be moving indoors on carpet again. Hope to kick some Losi butt on carpet with foams this winter.

Anyone know who still might have the Pomotional XRay kit for sale with the Hudy tools? rccarinternational.com has the kit with the set-up materials for toe-in and caster for around $400.oo shipped to the U.S. Anyone know of a better deal?

I would suggest to wait a little more, since X-Ray is about to release the X-Ray T1 Evo2.

This will have many (all? and some new) hop ups available in the market. I'm not sure if they will include hudy tools as well though!

Thumbs down

If I understand their high press sales idea they sure will include the tools and setup system. One xray is good enough for me. Or should I say one year long head banging event! never again!

How much longer till the release of the second model? Or is it one of those indefinite things where it might take 2 months or a year?

I doubt that the new kit will sell with the Hudy tuning kit and tools like the initial kit had. I was very lucky to get one of the first promotional kits to enter the US market. I would not have high hopes of a promotional item packaged with the new kit since the new release may have some of the finest tuning hardware available. But XRAY could prove me wrong and throw in a basic Hudy lathe or their new socket tools!

I am willing to believe there are parts not yet publicly released to be included with the new kit which will set it apart from the current kit. I also would buy the new release.

vthondaboi :: Good luck finding a promotional kit, you might also try atomichobbies.com and ask for Anthony.
