does anyone know how much shock oil weight is added by closing one hole? ex. if i have a 30wt with all holes open and i close one (1) hole on the shock piston what oil weight would it be equivalent to? 35? 40? 45?

thanks all!!!

I was a bit weirey of these shocks myself. I wonder why they didnt include aluminum in such a high end (expensive) car? Perhaps they feel they are better? Or at least as good?

I am thinking about ordering some TRF Flourine coated units. The Xray pieces are smooth and all but I still cant help but think aluminum would be better. The only problem then is trying to compare a setup with someone.

The plastic shocks are smoother. The only time you see pros running alum is on the gas cars and then again only in HOT weather as the plastic shocks arent good in hot weather.

i have read somewhere that the bulkheads height is different but im not sure.

oil weight does not change. its a similar change as adding thicker oil and closing a hole, but its not the exact same difference, as explained in

Its the metal bar that is attacted to the bumper top plate. Make sure you get the kit that has the ball cups for mounting it to the arms, not the packages that have just the bar. (Those are the different thickness bars)
