Forgot to mention. I'm assuming that these use the 32 tooth diffs and the 16 or 18 tooth top shaft gear.

Also I use 64p gears only, so you 48pitch amatures will need to figure this out on your own. So don't ask. LOL

The tire sizes are from a trued new tire. I think that new tires are just a hair larger than what I have on the sheets. The 2.1 is just a tad larger than a bare rim (I think, can't remember)

I use the formula (Tire Dia * pi() * pinion * Trannyratio) / Spur. There are other ways to skin this cat. This is just the formula that I use.

I colored two basic gear ration areas. From 0.85 to 0.95 is for small tight tracks. 0.95 to 1.1 for higher speed tracks. (hope none of you are blue/green color blind) (This is what I used for my tc3, don't know if it will carry over to the xray though. Got my xray a couple of days ago and haven't had it on carpet yet.)

There are a few differences between the t1 and the t1 evo2. I know only one of them, the evo2 has a different chassis. I know there are some more differences, but I'm not sure what the excact differences are. But I'm pretty sure the evo2 is better.

That is about it.

I have them. Silky smooth, no grease, very durable. Very pricey!

You forgot the most important difference, the oiled bearings...

Michael, is that a custom made brace? Did you have to drill a hole in the chassis?

Hi!

Yes itīs a custom made part. You donīt have to drill a hole in your chassis. Iīve got a Evo1-Chassis. There are holes at the right place.

If You visit my site or my forum, you can translate it with the google-funktion! But sometimes itīs a very strange and funny translation.

Greetings

Michael

How about an NACA duct in the left side, driver's window. Duct it down to the motor from there.

NACA ducts are very efficient, will look scale (sort of), keep from blowing tire dust into the motor, and won't provide a current draw on the batteries. (Not that newer 3300 don't last 8 minutes anyway.)

I've been playing with this idea for a while, but haven't made a master mold and stretched some plastic yet.
