Proudwinner - I put it in the number 2 position because I had a feeling that the belt was going to be a slight big tight in the #3 position, so I put it in the 2. But it was still kinda tight. Did you build a Evo 2 or a raycer? Because from reading this forum I'm getting the idea that the Evo 2 doesn't have a problem with the front belt being tight when you first build the car. But the raycer does.

Mine came with a 3 mm rear belt too, must be a running change they made to the kits.

I raced/ran my t1r for the first time today. 19t foams baby . It was awsome, all except for the huge rush I was in. I got at the track at 10:00, and had to remove my esc and reciever from my 12th scale, remove my servo from my tc3, change my packs to saddle packs, check ride height, get holes drilled in my tc3 body to mount it on the x-ray, and rewire my cyclone. Those were all the things I did before the 2nd qualifier (racing started at noon, and I missed the first qualifier). The 2nd qualifier was a mess, I shouldn't of run it. First of all my esc was reversed so I had to push the trigger for the car to go forward, and boy was that distracting to drive. I was all over the place, and my camber was all off too. Not to mention that I was 2 teeth undergeared and my diff's were too loose . But the third qualifier was good, I was faster than I was with my tc3, but the car had a lot of steering so I kept stuffing it in the boards. The main was great, I got a motor rebuilt, I got the gearing set right, the camber was good, and it all worked out great. Not to mention that I could drive it. I LOVE THIS CAR ! It is soooo much smoother than the tc3 was, and way nicer to drive. It's also way quieter and accelerates better. I just cant wait to get some stiffer springs for it, the springs that came with it are much to soft for foams.

It doesn't. I have both and I took the bulkheads, belts, and diffs f the evo and put it on the T1R. They spun freely on the evo but were very tight on the T1R. I'm currently running them in the second position and they feel great. It seems that the T1R chassis is a little longer.

My kit came with a 4 mm belt. It is the older Evo 2 before the freedom of choice came out. I also bought the composite C-hubs for it. I am only putting the c-hubs up front for a simple fact that I cannot adjust the rear end with the c-hubs.

Not trying to be a smarta$$ or anything, but I believe the pivot ball rear end is just as adjustable as the c-hub rear end. You can adjust the toe by using the little spacers, its also much easier to get the toe equal this way unless you have a set up system. But its still faster with the clips. And you can change the legnth of the rear upper links from the two holes on the bearing carrier. And you can adjust the angle of the upper links by adding washers under the outer eyelet. So in my opinion the c-hub rear end is just as adjustable as the pivot ball rear end. But than again I did just get the car.... just my .02

Cool. I did not know you could shim the rear arms. I was told by another that you could not so that is why I did not put them on there. I have only had the car for maybe a week now so I am new to this car.
