Yea, it was a little rough getting in. Sometimes the pic comes up on this thread, other times it doesn't.

The T1R looks like an impressive car. I wonder if it is a bit on the heavy side. From the looks of it, it is a bit heavier than the Evo2.

On the new T1R I don't see how the new tub chassis could possibly be as light as the one on the T1. It looks to be a nice design with the tub. I guess Xray had to jump on that band wagon and give the tub chassis a try. I hope they do a better jog of it than HPI did with the pro3. I can't wait to see one up close so I can take a good look at it.

There are 2 ways to build a cheaper chassis, molded tub and fibreglass...... I think they chose a molded tub because it retains the rigidity of the carbon fibre and yet allows for less expensive construction......

Tubs also have ribs on the outside making the chassis less prone to flex making it stiffer. This is going to be very good for foam carpet racing. I know i will be purchasing the tub and molded hubs for my evo2

Hey all

I presume that the C-Hub equipped kit doesn't come with the original pillow ball suspension as well???

Given that the kit with C-Hubs is more expensive why should I look at the C-Hub kit over the original pillow ball??

One of my MAJOR gripes with the Pro 3 was the amount of slop in the C-Hub setup, I was hoping the XRAY pillowball setup would remove that...hence I'm nervous about going to C-Hubs again.

WRXMY99---- you really can't compare apples to oranges, or even lowend apples to top quality apples!!!LOL HPI car aren't pro level no matter how you slice them, their cars have a ton of slop from the very beginning, get a Losi, Associated, or X-Ray with c-hubs and you will have very minimal slop after building........

Blasphemer, how dare you associate an Xray with the POC HPI, Xray quality far surpasses that of the toy HPI, there is very little slop in anything that xray makes,

It depends on your driving style, i think the c hubs are good for a very agressive driver while the c hubs may be batter suited to a more fluid driver, personally i liked the pillow car, but love it with the c-hubs.

I dont have any pricing info, but i cant see that there will be much(any) difference in price between the evo2 and the newer plastic c-hub kit.

does any one know if xray will release a composite c hub kit now, i have been running my evo 2 on carpet for some time now and have pretty much got the thing dialed on carpet but have always wanted to try c hubs but the price scared me, but if i can get a composite kit for much cheaper i would definately give it a try.

Unknown at this time, maybe when the T1R hits the shelves, we'll see replacements there as well.
