The new Xray car will be a sport version of the current car. It is due to come out next month, however, it is still unknown when the car will be available in the US.

I really enjoyed it the T1 is as you know is very tunable. finding the right FDR for the T1 is tricky. considering I went from a TC3 to my T1. and also my T1 is way smoother then what my TC3 could wished it was on concrete. carpet it was awesome again considering my rear ride height went from 4 mm to 2 mm that was my fault for not checking it. and running it all out mod. was a blast and considering I was still worn out from LA. but then again I must say I love my T1 just need to treat it like my serpent nitro cars to check all my settings after each run to keep it in tip top shape. by doing that will keep anyone in the TQ and 1st place position

NFE :: I am glad you are happy with it, I knew you would be. I stopped by Lightspeed today and asked Mark to build a Yokomo 10x2 and I will have it before the next race.

Does anyone remember the spring rates of the old serpent springs? I got t-boned this weekend and broke a shock. Considering converting my T1 to EVO shocks. Already have the ultra tune tower and front carpet tower.

On titanium screws. Been using them for years in my bicycles. Just use the silver anit-sieze for titanium on the screws.

Try going to the Serpent website and ask them. Or go the nitro on-road forum and look for the Serpent 705 thread.

Good luck cause I still don't think that you'll make 5 minutes at T&T with it.. I know a 12 dbl wont make it either.

If it doesn't I will step down a turn at a time a round. It surprised me that I came short like I did. Just have to work at it.

The Serpent springs are the same rate as the three softest Xray springs.

Orange Serpent = Yellow Xray (1.4D, 14lb)
White Serpent = White Xray (1.5D, 17.5lb)
Yellow Serpent = Blue Xray (1.6D, 22.5lb)

Checked this out so would know which springs to use as I was happy with my Shock setup from the T1, White on the rear and Blue on the front is what I use.

Thumbs up

Thanks University_Dave!!! I use the orange and white on mine. Was wanting to try the yellow front and white rear on my T1 as we have gone to flat carpet from a banked track. Not knowing the rate I was unsure. Now I know which way to go when I get the new shocks. Thanks again

The new car will mostly be a composite material. Not woven graphite. It's mainly for the economic racer who still wants to drive a high performance car.

Agree it is a great idea, i just hope they maintain all of the current functions of the evo2, and just replace the Graphite parts with plastic.

Personally i will already put my name down for one of those plastic body post braces. But i do love the look of graphite
