I prefer jhwnissan's belts over all the Losi belts.....they're way tougher. I have a ton of runs on them and they still look new,no signs of wear!!!

Thanks man. The Losi belts can spin a little better, but they also get destroyed WAY faster. Once broken in, it's close enough that it doesn't matter at all.

Some Losi springs can be found on ebay,sometimes you luck out and find somebody selling a bunch of them. The associated springs work fine unless you have threaded shock bodies in which case they will rub on the threads and then you will have a hard time moving the adjustment ring. The losi springs are a little bit bigger roundwise(bore) than the ae.

The silver ae springs are 14.5 so that would be the closest.

As for belts find a bando belts dealer i bought mine through a place in indianapolis get an sts s3m750 belt i got mine 4mm wide but you can get 3mm if you want you have to grind a little on the slot but no big deal and they are like $4 a peice! And its best to use the hd tensioner and pulley but leave the pulley in the standard length hole on the arm the stock pulley and arm give too much flex and it will derail when using reverse

Almost any spring should be fine. A lot of guys around here used xray and tamiya springs because they were in stock at the local places. AE is also a good spring. If you ever need belts, I always have them. Just shoot me a message or check me out on ebay @ joshhowarddesign.

Your on my list for a belt, got one from Superior Hobby the day before I found out about you!!!!!

My LHS has AE, Traxxas and RedCat parts, so I'm limited to supporting them to a point. They have NO Losi parts at all!!!!

I tried to put some info on Losi's forum about getting belts from you and they won't allow my posts!!!

That's how it works sometimes,Josh was interested in this project and had his belts out until people realized there was as much ca$h to be made. Now you can get belts from many places. I'm not knocking these other places but nobody had an interest in reproducing these until he already had sold quite a few. Yeah his belts require a little modification where the others may not but I know he did this because he loves rc.....not sure if I could say the same about all the others.
