Merry Christmas everyone. I am looking to get back into the carpet onroad seen with my losi xxxs. I am having issues with the belts. My cars have been sitting for a few years and the belts are dried and breaking. Not sure if jhwnissen is still making belts but sure would like to purchase a few from him. If and when I get the belt issues taken care of what spur/pinion combo is a starting point for a my losi. I have a new tekin gen 2 esc with a revtech 17.5 brushless motor. I haven't gotten to the indoor track to try anything yet due to my belt issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My boy did alright with his first time racing carpet and the XXX! He finished 8 out of 10 after bashing every board on the track. All that matters is that he didn't break to much and he had sooo much fun. The car handled great, he was just overcome with throttle fever every time after hitting a board. Broke a front shock tower in the final and was unable to finish... Already getting ready for the next race! Parts ordered for improvement...

I saw these belts on ebay.
I have not bought from this seller so I can't comment on their quality.

Anyone have a source for the 4-40 hex cap screws (1.500 long) used for the motor mount plate on the XXXS?

Thanks in advance!

I thought about them, but I only need two. The price is prohibitive.

It all depends on your spur gear size but I've had a 47 tooth pinion with a 94 spur.....all 64 pitch but I'm sure i could have gone larger on pinion.
