1 or 2 would be fine. 2 would probably put it right in the wheelhouse. The jhnissan belts have worked fine for me with just using the 41t pulleys.

Most of the belts that came out after Josh made his are the standard size but then they could be run loose at the regular tension point which wouldn't be a bad thing either. Anyways thanks for the update!!!

Sweet, definitely need to do the delrin/alloy combo for smaller number of teeth I think, also finished the first proto piece, ready to send tomorrow for test fit.
Damn the HDR pic really shows up any scraggly bits, hard to get a really clean finish on the very top of the teeth, and it's realllllly hard to cut off because its wafer thin and flexible, rest of the tooth is clean as a whistle just that top edge.


/edit big mark in the top is from a mishap I had when I didn't have the blank held good enough and it flung it out, broke my 1.6mm bit too!

Absolutely the work of an artisan. Aluminum & Delrin combo is the way to go.

And those Ebay belts from Bulgaria are nice and strong but a bit on the short side, in fact almost the identical length as Josh's belts, so a tooth off might be great as Bulgarian & Josh's belts are the strongest out there at the moment.

Looking very likely that I will do alloy main part with changeable delrin pulleys, easier to machine the pulleys themselves that way too, and gives the flexibility of different tooth counts

A lot of the common-wear parts are still floating around, like arms, hubs, ect.

Trinity had the MF line of hop-up parts, such as different Roll Center options. Those are some things that would be nice to have access to. Easy to produce I would guess as well.

I would like a gear diff for the rear Though to be honest the sealed drivetrain does make the ball diff last pretty long.
