That's okay. Even if someone buys from another company, I totally understand. I know the belts I have are good and work well. People will use the others and hopefully end up buying mine. The biggest crux right now is with arms and towers. I've got the parts to start making some cheap molds for resin parts, but my time is limited during the summer. It's a new process for me so it will take some time. I hope, in time, to be able to offer up a plate chassis car for those still interested in it. I love r/c. If I didn't, I wouldn't do it for work AND a hobby.

I'm doing drifting now and EVERYONE uses a plate. Not only that, but cars are similar enough to be able to interchange parts. Needless to say, it's inspiring me.

Haven't read anywhere about this, maybe I'm the first to notice and have a fix.

There is a lot of flex at the steering post (44 figure 19 in RTR manual, 19a in G manual) put a carbon piece across the top of the two steering posts under the two washers (46) before installing the two screws. Don't know if there is any flex with the G chassis, just have the RTR.

Steering posts without carbon bit. Looking down at the posts, grab hold of the front wheels, twist them out to get massive toe out then twist them in the get massive toe in and watch the post flex side to side.

Carbon bit was made from a part from ????? maybe someone knows what RC, it was in a parts box. Not pretty but works.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be carbon fiber, would it? Aluminum would work and be almost as light.

Do you have a dimension between the holes? It's kind of hard to measure unless you take it apart.

I used one like this one to measure for the holes;



OR

slide something thin through the "steering tunnel" with the steering post screws out.

OR

measure the distance between the center of the screws (from the bottom) that bolt the steering posts to the chassis

flip the xxxs over and measure the distance between the center of the screws that bolt the steering posts to the chassis.

I tried this mod, it tightened up the steering a little on my XXXX-S. I couldn't tell any difference on my XXXX-Graphite. I like a little flex in my cars.
