FS Losi XXX-S Package VTA/USGT/Drift
I saw it. Personally I'm just looking to pick up one roller... I still have a BMW shell that Franks Bodies painted, was looking to make a shelf car. With the future potential for USGT if it takes off locally. I need to track down the guy I sold mine to, see if I can get it back (I made the guy a killer deal). It's weird but every time I sell a XXXS I decide I have to buy another one at some point. I get bored with cars and move on to different stuff but the Losi is one I eventually go back to for spec classes. The thing is just easy to drive and live with.

Default Josh Howard belts

I just received a new belt for my XXXX-G. It's a great fit and functions perfectly. I'll be buying another.

Awesome! Glad to hear you got it going.

To those out there still running them, it was called to my attention that some people are installing the belts on cars with bent tensioners. Don't forget to check the tensioner and tension pulley bearing when you install. I got a belt back from a customer who purchased a car from a guy who bought one of my belts that was installed incorrectly. It actually chewed a few teeth and physically changed the pitch of the teeth on the belt so it wouldn't go around the spur gear. Pretty crazy stuff! Belt never broke, it just couldn't propel the car properly anymore.

Haven't had a single problem with the belts yet. That said one of my tensioners did have a bad bearing but I noticed it before running the car. I currently have approximately 60 runs on my first belt....still holding up great!

What is the pitch of a XXXX graphite spur gear 48 or 64? I thought it was 48, but a couple of sites list it at 64.

Yeah definitely 48 pitch, the yellow is sorta greenish yellow? The orange is most likely the 90tooth and the yellowish is 88tooth. With a picture I could tell you exactly what they are.

You would think they could put the number of teeth on the gear! Thanks!

I know right? Especially since they have the flat orange 90t that comes with the car,and then a brighter reddish orange that is an 86t. My guess is your orange is the 90 and the yellow is the 88.

I will say this though, with the option of either 2 42 tooth or 2 41 tooth pulleys the car can adjust along with the pinion/spur combo nicely to get you right onto the gearing you're looking for.

I don't suppose the pulleys are marked either.

Actually they are,the standard 42 tooth has a ridge along the outside of the pulley and the overdrive/underdrive 41 tooth pulley is smooth around the edge.
