Superior Hobbies, could you post a link to this exact item? I looked at your web site but could not find any belts. Thanks

Wink New Losi Belts ?

Looks like it is here : http://www.superiorhobbies.com/store...Replacement%29 for $40. I personally like Josh Howards belts for $25 as they are Kevlar reinforced here : For Sale: XXX-S Belts Here's Josh's belt installed on our latest XXX-S ( only a small file and 20 seconds to mod for the belt and he supplies directions ) :

Nothing against Josh's belts but that OEM piece is 25.95 from Superior. Notice the MSRP is $40. Based on the Losi part #, this belt is the standard shorter length.
Either way, a big problem with keeping the X running seems to be solved. Support these sellers folks.

As long as people are still able to race their XXX-S, I'm happy.

Looks like Superior Hobbies is using the original Losi Part number... losa3208

Here's what there site says:

TEAM LOSI XXX-S Belt

This is a Direct Replacement For the Original Losi XXX-S Belt (LOSA3208)

No modifications are required for proper instalation or belt tension.
Belt is the orginal length, tooth count and 3mm width

Back to having some retro fun...

Nobody says that you HAVE to use Josh's belts but I will say that for one superior didn't have these in stock a year ago(yes I checked because I was buying stock in the xxx4 belts) and the belts from Josh also don't crack over top of each tooth when the get some run time on them. Either way we are all able to run our cars and that's the most important part of all.

Default XXX-S Belt Direct Replacement for LOSA3208

Hi, here is a link to the belt on the website. We are using the orginal part number to make it easier for everyone to search for.

LOSA3208

Thanks for looking.

I sold my XXXS, collection of MF parts and NIP belts some time back... but seeing these new belts being made makes me want to grab another one.

What someone needs to do now is start producing a spur adapters again. I had two of them and wish I had kept one. I would probably be hesitant to run a triple XS again without one. Someone out there just needs to machine some up and start selling them, then the car would be almost future-proof. The other parts are still easy enough to find, and in VTA I never broke anything anyways. If you had seen the stockpile of arms and other parts I sold as a bulk package . these things are perfect USGT / VTA rides.

You can still find the MF spur adapter on occasion on ebay or buy a Blue aluminum & nylon on here http://end-of-line-rc.com/index.php?...rch=Losi+XXX-S I've got both and either is fine

The car is seriously awesome for classes like that. Once you get the FDR right, the handling is great. I'm glad people are finding more parts for them. It's a great chassis.

Looks like I'd have to order from overseas regarding the link you provided, any pics of the one you have?

I had two MF adapters and sold 'em both... not sure I'll find them on ebay again. If someone made a replica I think delrin would work fine, since these cars are pretty much VTA machines nowadays. If that part became readily available again I'd probably get another XXXS, I have lots of great memories with that chassis.

I'm still running an XXX-S in VTA at my local track. Still struggling to keep up with the fast guys running the more modern chassis though. I just picked up an Xray so I may be upgrading though.
