Hi Josh I just got your belts and tested yesterday and here are my feedback:
Power system: Brushless 10.5T 3250kV
Final speed on the car: 35m/h
We run this in Guatemala as super stock class, and I use this car for this class.

the belt fit perfectly I'm using the front diff pulley 41T and rear 42T. I have to drill a little bit to make a good tension point as you mentioned.

My idle pulley is a little worn out so when I try the reverse the belt goes off of the idley pulley and jam against the spur gear. I solved reducing the reverse mod by 20%, so in small speed I don't have this problem. Anyhow I will try to install a new idle pulley and test again.
I forward condition I don't have any issues and the car runs very good.

Thank you Josh.

Regards,

Alex

I will do this when I can.
Thanks again.

Hi all, boy does this feel weird talking about the xxxs again.
For those of you playing with arm sweep, have you tried using a rear arm mount on the front ??
Also, belt tension on the x is critical to belt slip. Brushless isn't the problem if the belt is slipping. The more power, the more tension required.
If the car rolls ok with no motor, the problem is elsewhere. The spur mounting screws will make the system bind if tightened to much. They should only be snug...not screwed in tight. Also, make sure the tensioner pulley isn't contacting the belt. If the belt is coming off the tensioner pulley you can bend the tensioner arm a little. Also make sure the tensioner pulley is rolling free. Front and rear diff bearings are critical. If you have a bad one the whole system is affected.
As mentioned earlier i have a load of xxxs stuff for sale. I've received numerous pm's about it and I just took 18 pics. Please contact me if you're interested.
Here's 3 pics for a little taste and please consider making an offer on anything you want. My stuff has been in storage for the last couple of years so I haven't even started to price out what all these are selling for on ebay or forums.
Big thanks to all you guy's who still know what a great car this is.

Morning All !! Been getting a LOT of requests for info and pricing on my alloy stuff....as expected...so I figured I'd just post the info and make it easy.
Yes, I'm willing to sell the alloy parts separate from the other parts BUT...I really don't wish to sell 1 piece here and 1 piece there.
Pricing. The TMF spur adaptor (tmf 1117 ) and front/rear arm mounts( tmf 1110 & 1107 )are $30 each. All the Dynamite stuff, the Trinity arm mounts (long ones), and the IRS battery strap are all offered at $15 each.
These are Ebay level prices. Please feel free to look them up yourself. I just spent the last hour just trying to find ANY of those TMF arm mounts (TMF 1110 & 1107).
Thanks for looking and contacting me folks. As this isn't the for sale section I won't be posting anything further regarding my stuff. Tomorrow it'll be on Ebay though so keep your eyes open.

Hows all the testing with the new belt going ?? Everybody solve any issues they were having ??

Josh,
Got about another hour of testing yesterday and still going good.
Showed some more XXXS owners the test belt and they are interested also.
I will keep testing and showing the belt to others.

Thanks again

Thanks again Josh!
You should have mine any moment.
Will update you with more racers who want them soon too.
Rubbaneck hasn't been able to do too much as he has been swamped at work.
He should be posting up soon too.

Any chance of getting one of the ones you said were too long? I would like to try one with the longer arm and the larger idler pulley to see if they would work to replace the losi HD black belts.

Sure. The 261 tooth belts ARE available. Unfortunately I have to go offshore, have a minimum order of 50, and it takes up to 16 weeks. It's pretty expensive and even more time consuming to have to wait. IF there are enough people that want them, we can start the process... but I need to make sure that people are absolutely committed to them because it is a lot of money and time involved.

So, since this seems to be rolling along nicely, how much do you guys typically pay for front suspension arms? That still seems to be the big piece that people can't get, right?

Arms are usually $9.00 for stock and $14 for graphite.
