Questions??

Hello all Losi fans I am new here. found a stock XXX-S with some graphite parts. I am rebuilding it. Looking for a Graphite chassis. Is there anywhere I can get one or are they out of production? Thanks

There are chassis out there on eBay but I'm sure people here have one or two laying around. Just ask and I'm positive people here have what you need.

Things looking great so far this week on the belts. Looks like it'll be late next week when I can get them in. Just waiting for some final test results.

Just waiting on results.... everyone stay tuned. Can we agree that people need front suspension arms? Also, are there any mods you guys do to your stock arms?

The addition of front arms would be fantastic.
I find a couple here and there but a good supplier would be nice.
Depending on what you want to do racing wise would be a consideration for shock arm changes. Some of us race in dirt and need more travel, (different shocks sometimes), others run on pavement or carpet and need different rod ends or spring rate changes.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks again for all the effort.

I just use an 8/32 nut driver which I have milled down the outer wall of to fit into the wheel recess area.
Works great.

So, places for different shock mounting? More holes?

Maybe 1 more mount, I don't know that more than that would be used.
Would worry too that it would be weaker with too many mount positions.
With the different top mounts available it works well now with just one.

well after some very rough testing today I'm happy to report the belt held up perfectly with about 5 packs of 3s. Unfortunately my tires are another story. Now if I could just find a socket to remove them lol

Thumbs up

Actually used my dremel and a small drill bit to slide up the tensioner screw slot today which gave me more than enough adjustability to run as much or as little tension that I want. I will try to get a few more runs in this weekend but so far so good. I know some people will be hesitant to do the chassis mod but it really is very easy and took about 10 seconds with the above method.I simply found a drill bit that was about the same size as the factory slot, then ran it up against the top of the slot and it burrowed the plastic out perfectly and looks like it came from Losi that way!

Hey js what wheels are you using? I've had problems with that before but usually only with certain wheels and offsets. I have some sorex slicks on hb wheels and have tons of room to get in with a non-modified socket.I saw where guys were pushing expensive tools on the problem,if it were me I'd look at different wheels.....unless you run vta in which case I'd try to find smaller nuts! DISCLAIMER: My use of "smaller nuts" while hilarious was actually referring to the wheel nuts on his car!
