I have used them in 10.5, 13.5 and 17.5 and they are excellent.

Great price from Hong Kong too.

Regards

Neal

Highly recommend this battery. It's cheaper and just as good as any other 40C battery on the market.

You obviously haven't used a Thunder Power or Fantom 5000 40C. They cost more but you can feel the difference as soon as you put them in your car. IP's are good quality and good value for money. If you are not out to win races they will save you some money.

Is a Team Epic 5000 40c a rebranded Intellect 5000 40c?
I ordered an IP 5000 40c, and received a Team Epic 5000 40c battery. They look identical, and see that they are both offered by Trinity. So I figured they are pratically the same battery.

I'm pretty sure the "Intellect", "IP", "Team Epic" are all the same.

I have 4x IP5000 40C 2c's. They are great for touring cars, i also use them in my 1/8th scale buggy.

I have 2 of these i use them in all the cars in my signature. Great batteries for the price. I use the model that has the bullet connectors not the wires coming out of it.

The bullet connectors are the worst version. That said the IP packs are amoung the best on the market when tested. They just don't compare to the two big guns that are SMC and thunderpower but they are almost 1/2 the price so are easily the best bang for buck.

What's so bad about the bullet connectors?

You can get them on eBay from Hong Kong. I think I paid $70 for it. Awesome value, a fresh battery is always better then an old battery. The price tag makes it easier to buy fresh.

Guys can dog you all they want about comparing it to a SMC or TP, for the price you can't beat it. It costs half, but it's 95% the battery. 95% of the people that race won't be able to take advantage of that extra 5%. Use the money saved to buy tires or practice time.

Welcome back.
