Need Some Advice (Charging Batteries)
I have a couple of 4600 (4) cell packs. They are 2 years old and are finishing out at about 4200 mAh when charging. I have a the Checkpoint TC 1030 charger and a Integy INDI Booster-2 discharger
My normal procedure after making a run (1/12 scale 17.5) Is to discharge them on my checkpoint then put them on the Integy to some what match them. I wait until the filement of the bulb goes out and remove them from
the Integy discharger. I then charge them.
They are not finishing at 4600 mAH.
Is there anything I can do help me get closer to 4600 mAH.

Buy new batteries.i had some old 6cell ni mah pack and it just started losing power with every run, even after discharging. The rechargables dont last for ever they die sooner or later, just replace them.

I would think that there is the remaining mah still left in the pack as you are not totally discharging it,could be wrong --

old batteries just dont hold the charge. It can reach a full discharge rate but it wont charge as much no matter how long you discharge it,i use to leave mine discharging for a day and nothing in the morning,it was just time for new batteries..
