I would contact Charlie for any setup advice. I don't know of any team setups
thus far.

Default THE EDGE ESC FROM NOVAK

Charlie,
What's up dude. Sorry this is probably not the right thread to do this but I didn't have a chance to e-mail you back but I just wanted to pass on a report on the New EDGE BRUSHLESS ESC.
I ran it first with my Tamiya M-05 mini using the Ballistic 17.5 and it fits perfect with the smaller footprint in the chassis, I didn't even have to trim wires, it was the perfect length.
ESC has plenty of power, good brakes and very smooth throttle response. Then I ran it in my Tamiya FWD FF03 again fits perfect no triming of wires either. Using the 21.5 Novak motor, same results, couldn't be happier!
Now for some reason there is several of the EDGE ESC's turning up here at the Tamiya track both in mini and FWD FF03. All comments positive.
Thanks Novak for a great product and Charlie for your Technical service.
Max
Racer and Tamiya track local!

Can I ask what the difference is moving from 1.3 to 1.4.3 especially with a 10.5 motor?

When is the X-Drive going to be released to the general public ? One of our local Novak Team drivers ran one on the weekend (after his Kinetic went up in flames). He said he was very impressed with it.

XDrive is in the Havoc Pro SC and the Kinetic Spec for sure maybe the Edge but that one I'm not sure of. The Havoc and the Kinetic can be run in TC and Offroad classes. They are a little big for 1/12th but the EDGE is ideal for that. If your into the blinky classes, if your into boost the HPS and the KS both still can do that as well.

There are actually several new and improved speed controls coming out in the next while, just have to keep watching the NOVAK site for the new releases.

So is the normal Kinetic going to get the XDrive update as well? Or is it becoming obsolete?
