Brushless and lipo are the future (and probably even the present...) of electric racing.

As I understand it, all Kinetic adjustments (including timing) can be changed through our One Touch™ on-board programming. (No need to take your computer to the track.) Additional, finer adjustments can be made with our NovaLink

Default Novak Kinetic

What do think of the Kinetic? Seems similar to the tekin. Do you think its worth buying it for $205 in place of my GTB? or should i keep the GTB?

How do you like your GTB esc? I am trying to make a transition from nitro to eletric and I cannot decide between the GTB or the kinetic aswell. Is there anything that you would change about your GTB? I wanted an esc that I can growth with, I plan to race 1/10th 17.5 stock class with a TC5.

Thanks,Jason.

The GTB is awsome ive had mine for about 2 years with now problems. I race 17.5 rubber with a TC5R pretty much every week. you dont need the fan on the esc. it doesnt heat up with a 17.5. Im geared around 3.66 on a tight track and the motor is at 135* after a 5min race. Ive also had a Havoc pro and its not as smooth. If your willing to spend $205 (or $285 on a ballistic combo) then wait for december to get the kinetic otherwise the GTB is great.

I am not sure what class you run in 2 years ago a gtb would be considerd good maybe but nowadays it is only good in modified as it doen't have the extra timing intervals and in mod it isn't needed.

You will be dissapointed with a GTB in a stock class. I still have one that i drove in mod back then. It worked but that is all.

Right on, that is what I was debating either the kinetic or the new lrp. I need to look into the speed passion. Does anyone know where or if I can find a video of the software which is used to adjust the motors with either the lrp spx or the kinetic? I wonder how difficult is it to adjust the timing and throttle and all.

Thanks,Jason.

The GTB works great for me in 17.5 rubber class. I have the timing turned all the way up on the novak 17.5. Why dont u like it?
