Default Compatible receivers with Mars R???

Hi -

I may be interested in trading my M8 for a Mars R.

Does anyone have any experience with what other receivers will work with this transmitter?

Can anyone explain why another receiver wouldn't work?

My M8 is trusty, so I don't want to trade it for a finicky system if I can help it.

Thanks in advance

Dave

p.s. both are on 27 mHz, and I have an XXL for the M8 right now along with Airtronics receivers

I thought that if you used something besides a KO receiver, you would loose the speed of the Mars R system, is that correct?

JWATT :
No,i dont think a slow receiver will be able to run properly with a HSR TX.
compatible receivers with KO Mars R:
LRP Phaser 1/2 , Nosram(dunno the name though).
these are definites cos they are the same.

Ko 301, xxL for KO, xxtra, lrp phaser(27 mhz only) Also, the new Hitec I think

the 301 and phaser will be the only ones with the high speed.

The novaks will work perfect with being hisgh speed, but it is still the same as m8, so it doesn't matter.
